I was a bit shocked when I noticed that my last post here in blogspot was way back 2017. I have topics on my pocket but still could not find a great time to jot down everything. Had a lot on my plate these past months.
Anyhow will try to keep in touch with my blog. I'm not sure if it was January last week when I saw a news that google will be shutting down google +, thought blogspot will be affected as well but fortunately, no. If not mistaken, stated on the news article it was due to some security system issue.
Well, way back when I was in college my teacher told us that its not really safe on any social media platforms as it is not 100% secured. Of course, there are system issue, data breech, hacking and phishing scams that is already brought up that seems to be the problem in almost all social media sites.
We can't forget the issue on Facebook that pushed Zuckerberg to face the senate and answer all those data privacy issues. Twitter had also these issues as well as other sites.
I do hope that I come up with more topics to be posted soon. I'm happy that despite the shut down, blogspot will still be active. Happy blogging!

Why it took so long?
Its past 2 in the morning and hooray I am still up. I missed visiting my own blog and posting different topics. Well, I've been active with this account three years ago and for some personal reason I have to stop. Someone's blog inspired me to write again, like write anything you want in any length form. This is me, I wanted a free writing. No strict rules or technicalities. I wish to write more if I will still be given strength and opportunity. Meanwhile, I have to pause for a while and give myself a rest. Good mor-night!

Change Has Come?
There is no permanent thing in this world except change" this famous adage goes for years for the fact that people believe everything changes
If that is the case, is every little thing in this planet alter? Well, it might be arguable still.
Politicians especially during elections always promise "change" in the country. Changing the education, the justice system, and even the undying traffic in the metro. In short, everything under the sun a politician can promise he will.
However, Filipinos particularly the poor ones are victim of the promises.
Each vote is important for the candidates. On the other hand, each exercise of right to vote is another hope for a better living and better nation.
The past administrations in the Philippines gives us different strategies and tactics on how the leaders lead his country. However, one thing is common and undeniable, the never-ending issue of corruption and conspiracy.
The past two administrations of Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, and the recent exit in presidential position of Benigno Noynoy Aquino III, has both controversial issues. The first one was involved in plunder (PCSO misuse of money), the "I Am Sorry" wherein she was alleged to deceit the national elections by talking over the phone with Comelec Chair Virgilio Garcillano, and the other cases filed against the now congress woman Arroyo. In line with this, the latter was also part of the tragic Mamasapano massacre, DAP-PDAF issues and others too.
Now, the Philippine face a new leadership, a far different from the previous ones.
The Duterte regime has finally come.
Strict, intense, vulgar, promising. These words to describe the start of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, the former mayor of Davao for a long time. As Duterte formally acknowledge as the 16th President of the Philippines, last June 30 his priorities the removal of drugs in the country specifically the drug lords, pushers and users.
News Front page and headlines depicts the way of president Duterte's ruling. Many drug users and pushers were arrested but most of them got killed. On the brighter side, pushers and users surrendered themselves in fear of getting killed.
According to Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism's Facebook account, the previous operation from May10-July 11 in "Oplan Tokhang" there are 192 persons killed and 8,110 persons arrested;
The massive campaign regarding drugs gives so much hope to the public. This is because many crimes were done under the influenced of drugs.
Besides, drugs other platform of president Duterte are no to contractualization,
Exempting the poor Filipinos from tax, creating and doubling the salaries of teachers and other economical issues as well.
Change also applies to the president's other concerns, like the recent memorandum in which the title "His Excellency" will not be label whenever he will attend gatherings or be acknowledge. He did not also want luxurious feast for his victory. When there will be gatherings he just wanted to have the simplest menu and productions. What he eats in his house, that will be served also in MalacanaƱang.
Six years of journey as a president is a long way ahead. People can never tell what will happen tomorrow. Change may be seen now, but the question is till when? Is the good leadership will be maintained? The Filipinos are watching, waiting, especially those in the midst of poverty. Every one hope to have changed in a better country, a better Philippines.

TRUST HIM, HE KNOWS BEST
There are things in life that we do not understand yet.
However, time comes and we fully realize the reason behind it. There are a lot
of reasons for every Why’s, a bunch of answers for every question and a purpose
for every cause. Unfortunately, some of us cannot wait any longer to get those
queries be answered or all those doubts vanished.
So many questions boggle our mind, “Why the sky is blue?”
“Why is there me and you?” or “Is it true?” Issues in life that craves for an
answer- a solution maybe, and we keep on searching. Looking for the key to open
up a light in our heads and close the dim part of our being, we sometimes
failed. With that failure, we give up and lose our faith to what we hold on
from the start. We cannot simply accept the fact that failures are part of our
journeys in life.
Failures are like salad dressing, salad will not be salad
without it. Imagine there are people who do the best they can to attain their
dreams, and yet they still encounter failures. Sometimes no matter how hard we try,
how big the effort we exerted we fail. Nevertheless, giving our best is needed
and it does not mean that if we fall shortly it is the end of everything. At
the end of the day, we keep on breathing, moving, loving, caring and falling on
the ground, it is normal.
As we woke up, and face another challenge in life, some
of us fear the failures that will come along the way. Considering these, we might
need hope and trust as suits when we go on to our battles. Hope that we will
surpass what we are going through and trust that there is a reason for it.
Another question might burst out in our minds again, to whom we will give our
trust? To whom we will hope for? To a friend, a member of a family, lover,
stranger, to whom? We always look back on things we only see, we forgot to look
up on someone up there.
Going back to the questions that bother our minds, did we
ever consider HIM to answer? Did we give HIM a chance to give a respond to what
we ask? Then another question will be, “How can I ask HIM?” There is no need
for an updated version of iPhone or Samsung gadget, because it is not luxurious
to communicate with HIM. We just bent our knees to the ground, and say a little
prayer.
Many questions cannot be answered even by the closest
person we have but HE can. Well, the answer might not be audible but it can be
seen, and it can be felt. We must try not to be impatient. We cannot measure
how HE works, who knows HIS using someone as instrument to answer us, or to
teach us. We just have to wait, and take it or not there are a million reasons
why it is worth waiting for.
With us alone, we really cannot survive, failures will
get us down until we can no longer stand up and continue our battles. However,
with HIM we can, together with trust and hopes in our hearts will able to
finish our fights. We may not understand everything from this moment, and,
questions will still be questions at this point. But, somewhere, someday,
someone will answer. A good friend up there, unseen but can be felt and no
words can decipher the feelings but deep in our hearts, we know and we
understand.

YOU ARE LOVED
Fulfillment and joy flows in an abyss
Of great wealth and fortune makes your
life full of bliss
With great friends, you thought would
never leave
But there you are alone in your grief.
You forgot of everything, your family and
loved ones
Neglecting them with your meager
importance
You chose people who said they wouldn't
make you frown
But they are standing on top of you
mocking you with your fall down.
With one wrong moved, you stumble and
fall
And now you try to crawl
You, once boastful and proud
Now dethroned, eyed by the crowd.
You were lost, you cannot find the way
Your weariness takes you over, make your
nights into days
You wanted to give up, end your life with
a knife
But your conscience still fighting,
trying to survive.
Your pain and sorrow got the best of you
The journey of your life seems to be so
blue
But you forgot someone who remained to be
true
His loving kindness will never adieu.
You just need to kneel down and pray
fervently
And you will feel his grace magnificently
For He is kind, for God is love
And we are blessed that we are loved.

ASOP: Songs of Wisdom
Songs are created depending on the mood and
intention of the writer. Some are written to show love and others with anger
and hatred, and there are songs made to inspire and change a certain belief.
However, a song which is intended to praise God must be written with wisdom as quoted
by Bro. Eli Soriano, presiding minister of the Members of Church of God
International during the A Song of Praise (ASOP) 2013 Finals last December 24,
at ADD Convention Center Apalit Pampanga. “Ang isang magandang composition may
wisdom, pag yung little bits of wisdom ay hindi nakita sa isang composition,
hindi natin maco-consider na perfect song”. Brother Eli, reiterated that it is
of great importance that a song of praise to God must contain wisdom, not just
an ordinary song created ordinarily it must be special.
As the show continues Bro. Eli said that his attention
is mostly focused on the lyrics since it is a song of praise. But, melody and instrumental
background adds color to the song, lyrics is the most essential. The event was
very special for all the attendees. The audience is once more ready to be
inspired by the message of the song while the participant who includes
composer, lyricists, and interpreters are all persistent to hear the comments
of the judges especially Bro. Eli and Bro. Daniel.
Indeed, the competition is a tough one surely I can
feel the pressure felt by the contestants who joined the competition. Membersof the Church of God International across the country participated these
include song entries from Rizal Province entitled Oh Ama Ligaya Ka (Father You’re
My Joy), from Cambodia entitled “Inari Mong Anak Na Rin (Considered Me As Your
Child As Well) while there are two song entries from Singapore one is entitled
Dahil Mayroong Ngayon (Because There Is Yesterday) while the other is May Ngiti
o Luha Man (In Smiles or Tears), However there are also two song entries from
USA the song title is Sa Iyong Pagtawag (For Your Calling), and the other one
is Oh Kay Sarap Maging Lingkod Mo (Oh How Sweet It Is To Be Your Servant).
There is also a song from Visayas Region entitled Unending Thanks To You. Brazil,
South America had their entry entitled Purihin Ang Ngalan Mo (Praise Your Name)
On the other hand, Australia is also a finalist with a song title Dahil Ikaw
Ang Aking Dios (For You Are My God) and from Germany entitled Salamat Amang
Banal.
Bro. Eli commented that most of the songs performed
during the ASOP finals had no problems in terms of melody and song interpreters
(singers) they give justice on the song. Brother Soriano suggested that creating a
good song requires good effort. For an instance, those who have good command
with words should work on the lyrics while those who are musically inclined should
work on tones.
The event was full of wisdom from the Bible; Brother Soriano also mentioned that Songs of Solomon express love the songs of David
express deep gratitude to God. As the event is about to finish all are
overwhelmed by the biblical explanations of Bro. Eli and the letters of each
song entries which captures the heart of the audience. When everyone is ready
to go home each has their souvenir which is worth to remember that when writing
songs of praise to God it must have wisdom.

Isang Araw (One day) movie: A certified must-watch
Get your popcorn ready! It’s movie season again, but before you grab your bag and rush to the nearest movie theater to buy tickets to The Hunger Games Sequel: Catching Fire or Disney’s Frozen, you might want to reconsider your plans just now.
If you’re in
for an action-packed movie, with the right amount of humor and drama, and a
moral back-drop story to ponder on, Isang
Araw (One Day) the movie is just right for you. This is the sequel of KuyaDaniel Razons first self-produced movie, Isang
Araw Lang back in 2009.
Many
movie-goers would line up to blockbuster movies where the same plot never seems
to quench their thirst for a good movie over and over again. But, if you’re
tired to that same old formula that makes big production companies even
wealthier, Isang Araw (One Day) the movie
will give you a new perspective on quality film.
Unlike many main-stream
movies in cinemas now, the movie has an inspiring plot of how the character of
a simple man played by Kuya Daniel Razon himself, stood up to fight for what is
right and help innocent people who are persecuted by the many adversaries of
good in the film. The film is very realistic and timely especially now that our
country has been experiencing several events where the wealthy and powerful
abuse their influence to intimidate and harass the poor and meager. People will
be pleased to know of one of the main antagonists in the film, Ms. Annette
Nepales played by renowned and versatile actress, Ms. Jackie Lou Blanco, who
will trigger many associations as the country faces a current issue where the
name seems to ring a bell.
